Heart disease, a leading cause of death in the United States, can easily go undetected. With a standard "know your numbers" screening, our specially trained nurse staff greets participants with a collaborative, no-judgement outlook – we'll take a look at your numbers and talk about ways to improve them.
Participants will have height, weight, and waist measurements taken, followed by a blood pressure reading and finger stick (lipids + glucose). Results from the finger stick come out in just a couple minutes, and participants are then given an overall, easy to understand, review of the numbers, what they mean as regards to overall health and heart health, and then given positive feedback on ways to improve, what to avoid, and when a doctor visit is called for. All participants are given their results to take home.
