In 1997, founders Dennis McGinley and Jim Gass, with many years of restaurant management and catering experience between them, recognized an unfulfilled need in the catering market. Local Miami businesses were looking for catering services they could rely on for high-quality food, beautifully presented, without the hassle of setting up the spread, repackaging uneaten food, and cleaning up after the meeting. The need for a fresh, attractive, full-service approach to catering led Dennis and Jim to open the first Corporate Caterers, with the mission of bringing consistently great food to the business community.
The Corporate Caterers model saw great success with other locations quickly opening throughout Florida. In 2010, the first location outside of Florida opened. The Corporate Caterers family of franchisees is now proudly serving businesses in over 30 regional marketplaces. Clients in all locations continue to enjoy the diverse menu, from tried-and-true favorites to unique creative dishes.
In 2017, the company hit its 20th franchise milestone and brought on Greg Halton as CEO. With extensive leadership experience, Greg oversees operations and is working to accelerate the growth of the brand.
