apree health was formed when leading advanced primary care (APC) provider Vera Whole Health (Vera) merged with digital health innovator Castlight Health (Castlight) on February 17, 2022. Both companies were founded in 2008.

apree health’s APC model was built upon the belief that you must establish trust and rapport with a person—taking time to understand and address all sociological and psychological factors—before you can truly affect their whole health. This model clinically integrates health coaching into comprehensive primary care. Our first care center opened its doors in 2013; today, we are building care center networks across the country to provide employers and payers with coordinated care that treats the whole person, ultimately improving health outcomes and lowering the total cost of care.
