He was diligent in pursuing an unresponsive and uncooperative hospital. Despite every road block, Jon was creative in suggesting alternate angles we could approach to solving my problem. Jon found and submitted documentation that strengthened my case- such as a patient's bill of rights that the hospital was not honoring in my , a physician's order form unsigned by me, strengthening my case of a procedure performed without my informed consent, and he helped me draft an official dispute letter.

Jon was eager to fight as hard as I was. He relayed to the hospital that I had spoken with my local congressman, as well as newspaper and TV news reporters about my case. Through constant diligence and hard work, Jon convinced Belton Regional Medical Center that we were not a problem that was going to go away, and convinced the hospital to correct their mistake- writing off the entire balance for the procedure performed without my knowledge or consent.

I feel very fortunate to have had an advocate as strong as Jon on my side. It is a great financial and personal relief to have this problem resolved, and I couldn't have done it without Jon's help. Thank you, Jon Hess!
