Carallel helps health plans, providers, and employers identify, engage and empower caregivers to navigate their difficult role, access resources and problem solve. We support both broad benefit deployments and targeted interventions as an extension of clinical teams. This includes:
- Personalized guidance and assistance from our team of Care Advocates (caregiving experts) available via phone, chat and email to counsel caregivers, establish caregiving plans, assist with research and enrollment needs, etc.
- Digital tools, education and resources via MyCareDesk, a self-driven, comprehensive caregiver platform, delivered in a HIPAA-compliant, customizable environment. It includes workflow tools that facilitate collaboration with care team members for tasks, documents, and financial information, along with resources and guidance in complex caregiving topics.
- Connection and emotional support via support group facilitation. Caregiving can be isolating and lonely. We establish virtual, judgment free environments for caregivers to share their stories with others who can relate.
In 2018, we launched the national Caregiver Help Line for the Caregiver Action Network and have helped over 20,000 caregivers nationally through that relationship. Since then, we have helped health plans across the country set their caregiver support strategies and create important connections to this key stakeholder.
