Miami, Florida-based Papa is the first and only tech-enabled platform that connects a fully curated and trained network of energetic college age and youthful adults (Papa Pals) to families who require caregiving assistance including elder care, childcare and direct in-home support.
Papa, Inc. was formed in 2017 and is a concept that Andrew Parker, Founder and CEO developed out of frustration finding the appropriate level of care for his grandfather. Andrew found private duty franchises to be expensive and had fluctuating provider quality. Since Andrew’s grandfather didn’t qualify for home care through his health plan, he took to Facebook to see if anybody would visit with his grandfather for companionship. After an overwhelming response, the idea of Papa was born.
